He discusses spending his own money on Akon and “Locked up” being the first single, and Akon’s debut album selling 3 million. He discusses his Hip-Hop legacy tree, which was wanting Scooter Braun to take over his company, and Scooter eventually signing Justin Bieber, and his one degree of separation from Lady Gaga via Akon.
