TK Kirkland Paid Jay Z $1,500 for a Gig in 1995; Jay Z Arrived Late

Comedian TK Kirkland recalled paying Jay Z $1,500 to play his birthday party in 1995, which he said was before the Brooklyn rapper blew up in the hip-hop world. Today, TK says he is happy to see Jay’s success and added that he was also making his way into the sports management arena.

Moving along, TK shared his thoughts on Soulja Boy and Chris Brown’s beef earlier this year, and he said that he hates to see two men fight over a woman. Kirkland also added that he doesn’t understand the trend of young celebs turning to gangs after they achieve fame, which you can hear more about in the above clip.
