Bay Area legend Too Short joined VladTV for an interview about his story: growing up in Los Angeles, moving to Oakland at the age of 14, and his nascent fascination with hip hop. “I would be dope as f**k if I told a story about Oakland,” he says, “I ran to the house and wrote a rap about what I saw in Oakland, trying to do my version of Melle Mel.” Watch above.
