TwonDon – Letter To, Folarin (Wale)
In a feat of incredible timing, New Jersey rapper TwonDon releases “Letter To, Folarin,” his personal note to Wale, on November 30, and unless this man has the offices of Dreamville bugged, we figure there’s some sort of cosmic magic at play. We say that because a few days later, J. Cole released his track “False Prophets,” a song involving Jermaine’s own personal motivational message to (probably) Wale. The whole situation caused quite a stir, and we’ve been covering it as it’s happened.
Wale may have actually replied to TwonDon, along with Cole, on his track “Groundhog Day.” You can hear the snippet in question below.
You have always been an inspiration to me @Wale! I’m glad that I can do the same for you. More than grateful. Thank You! #GroundHogDaypic.twitter.com/hCLp2SyBvg

Either way, you need to hear TwonDon’s song. Let us know what you think.
Quotable Lyrics:
My niggas say “Well, what you gon tell him?”
Just figure give you the flowers while you can still smell ’em
And now you know, from the concrete grew a rose
I spit a beautiful bliss, ain’t need no J. Cole
