Virgil Roberts on Helping Suge Knight Get a Cut of Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby”

Music executive and attorney Virgil Roberts opened up about how he helped Suge Knight and his associate, Mario “Chocolate” Johnson, get a multi-million dollar settlement for writing credits on Vanilla Ice’s debut album, To The Extreme. Virgil revealed that the settlement was the most amount of money Suge had made in his career up to that point.

During the conversation, Virgil said he doubted the rumors that Suge actually dangled Vanilla Ice over a hotel balcony for not getting paid for “Ice Ice Baby.” He explained that Suge didn’t deny the rumors over the years because it was good for his tough-guy reputation.
