Who is XXXTENTACION?

By now you’ve probably heard rumblings about a young rapper from Florida named XXXTentacion, who’s being talked about….for both his music, and the serious legal charges he’s currently facing.

XXXTentacion is a 19-year-old from Broward County, north of Miami-Dade. His aggressive, rapid-fire SoundCloud release “Look at Me” entered the Hot 100 in late February. ASAP Rocky is a fan of the song, and Drake has been accused of biting X’s deliberate flow for an unreleased song he previewed at performance in Amsterdam in January. Beyond that specific single, Danny Brown has quoted X’s lyrics on Twitter, and Lil Uzi Vert and Makonnen have voiced their support for him as well. Not to mention his millions of streams on SoundCloud.
