In this clip, Wyclef Jean reveals details about his debut album The Carnival. Although it wasn’t as widely popular as The Score, Jean admits that the record “did what it needed to do,” by going 5x platinum. He also says that the project helped him establish himself.

The conversation also answers a question that many Hip Hop fans’ wonder about. Jean admitted that he’s not sure if Lauryn Hill’s “Lost Ones” was a shot at him. “Personally I don’t take it as a shot.”
