Wyclef Jean Handcuffed After Being Mistaken for Robbery Suspect

Wyclef Jean was reportedly handcuffed by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies early Tuesday morning after he was mistaken for an armed robbery suspect. He shared videos of the incident on social media and said that he was “appalled” over how he was “treated like a criminal” despite the fact that he had done nothing wrong. The actual suspect was eventually apprehended, and Wyclef was released from police custody at that time.
