Nike and Comme Des Garcons to Release Collaborative Air Pegaus ‘83
The annual Met Gala will take place tonight in New York City at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In celebration of tonight’s biggest party of the year, Nike and Comme des Garcons release a collaborative shoe, the Nike x Comme Des Garcons Pegasus ’83, themed after the popular Costume Institute Gala festivities.
In conjunction with tonight’s Gala, the release of these coveted shoes will also tie in with the upcoming exhibit of Rei Kawakubo, founder of Comme des Garcons, who will be displaying his work at the Metropolitan Museum of Art starting Thurs., May 4. Dressed in an all-black suede upper, the luxurious pair of sneakers features hits of metallic gold on the CDG branding on the tongue and heel. A black tonal Swoosh and heel tab in premium leather material, close out these sneakers overall look.
