President Donald Trump along with House Republicans have failed to create a better form of healthcare for the nation, leading Trump to pull the vote on his Obamacare repeal.

The Huffington Post reports the American Health Care Act didn’t get the support of many members of the House. The bill warranted speculations from critics, who believed millions would lose their insurance under it. Trump sent off a warning to the House Thursday (March 23) that he would go on with other matters if they didn’t seek the votes needed.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, (March 24) House Speaker Paul Ryan revealed that the problem didn’t stem from “yes” or “no” votes, but from no votes at all from several members of the House.
“We’ve got to do better and we will,” Ryan said. “This is a setback no two ways about it. Ryan said he’s “done everything he can” to gather votes but “at the end of the day, you can’t force people to vote.”
In a turn of events, the Democrats introduced the “Making Access Records Available to Lead American Government Openness Act,” otherwise known as the “MAR-A-LAGO Act,” a shade of sorts to Trump’s Florida resort he’s reportedly called “the southern white house.” The act will require visitors to check in through a log at The White House, a routine that was followed by the Obama administration before Trump discontinued it.
“The president should end his administration’s disturbing pattern of stonewalling information and immediately reinstate the previous administration’s policy of publishing White House visitor logs,” Sens. Tom Udall of New Mexico said in a statement.”And given President Trump’s unprecedented decision to conduct official business at his private business properties, the Trump administration has an obligation to make public the visitor lists at places like Mar-a-Lago and Trump Tower.”

As for the Republican’s health care bill, Ryan says he’s ready to put it aside to help assist Trump in his other endeavors. “We’re going to move on with our plans,” he said. “We want a border, we want tax reform. It doesn’t make tax reform more difficult but it doesn’t make it impossible.”
