Omarosa Heckled By Anti-Trump Crowd While Wedding Shopping

Omarosa Manigault (yes, she has a last name) was the subject of an alleged verbal attack while shopping for her upcoming wedding to Florida pastor John Allen Newman.

On Wednesday (Feb. 8) The Washington Post shared details behind the incident which reportedly took place on Saturday (Feb.4). Manigault, who acts as a White House communications director for President Donald Trump, was heckled by two women who followed her into the Tyson Corner Center in Virginia. Witnesses claimed Manigault told Nordstrom staffers, “These fat ladies won’t stop following me.” The women allegedly called her “Trump’s whore” and other expletives. “They were letting her have it.” the source said.

Manigault was shopping for dresses for her bridesmaids in her upcoming wedding to Newman. She will also appear on TLC’s Say Yes To The Dress to commemorate the occasion. The store’s loss prevention team stepped in to calm the situation, by asking the women to leave. Manigault was then escorted to her car.

Omarosa has been the subject of ridicule for nearly her entire career. Starting off as a reality contestant on Trump’s The Apprentice, the 43-year-old was named head of African-American outreach during Trump’s campaign for the presidency. Part of this outreach included a presentation of his plans for African-Americans through celebrity gossip site MediaTakeOut.

Both the White House and Nordstrom confirmed the incident. It isn’t known if the hecklers were reprimanded by the police.
