Paul Pierce Had A Few Words For The Warriors On Twitter

The L.A. Clippers’ Paul Pierce had some words for the entire Warriors team on Twitter after the Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green’s talked smack about how Pierce is merely “chasing that farewell tour.”

“Chasing that farewell tour,” he said to Pierce during the first quarter of the game, referencing the end of the baller’s time in the league (Pierce has been in the NBA since 1998). “They don’t love you like that. You thought you was Kobe!”

In order to roast Green’s team, the small forward tweeted in the wee hours of Friday morning (Feb. 24) about the Warriors’ major loss in the 2016 NBA Finals that the Internet just won’t live down.

“73 wins and u thought u was gonna win a title that yr,” he wrote with three laugh-crying emojis. “3-1 lead oops.”

Although the Internet seemed to rally behind Pierce’s shady tweet, one Twitter user made sure to remind him about the time he and his team blew their chances at a major win.

Oh, the Internet.
