Pharrell’s Creative Control On ‘Hidden Figures’ Soundtrack Made It Special

One of the most anticipated movies of the holiday season arrives in theaters today (Dec 9). The film, Hidden Figures, stars the power line up of f Taraji P. Henson, Janelle Monáe and Octavia Spencer as the three African-American women at NASA who were responsible for the U.S.’s win the international Space Race.

Pharrell Williams scored the film as the composer and producer for the motion picture soundtrack. Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Janelle Monáe, Lalah Hathaway and Kim Burrell were all present to contribute to the 10-track album, which can be purchased now on iTunes.
