Pharrell’s Life Story Inspired A ‘Romeo & Juliet’ Style Musical

Pharrell Williams is inspiring Hollywood more and more with his life story. Most recently, the Virginia native announced that a musical is in the works — directly based on his childhood in V.A.

Broadway director Michael Mayer is set to reunite with Skateboard P on the project, along with producer Gil Netter and i am other’s longtime producer, Mimi Valdes. Fox has taken on the musical film which is titled Atlantis.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie is being described as a “Romeo & Juliet style movie.” At press time, an official release date had not yet been announced.
