British TV presenter Phillip Schofield has said he has “lost everything” and that his “career is over” following the affair he had with a young male colleague.
The former This Morning presenter apologised but said the pair were “not boyfriends” and they only had five or six romantic encounters over a few months.
However, Schofield said the affair “was a grave error”, adding: “I shouldn’t have done it.”
