Safaree Alleges Nicki Minaj Tried To Censor Him

Unfortunately, Nicki Minaj is still focusing on the wrong things. After Remy Ma unleashed a murderous diss track against Minaj, in which she aired details of Nicki’s extra-curricular activities with a number of hotshots in the music industry, the Pinkprint rapper allegedly tried to block her former hype man Safaree Samuels from spilling any more secrets on The Wendy Williams Show.

“She tried to stop it,” Safaree said on the gossip talk-show on Tuesday (Mar. 7).  The Love and Hip Hop Hollywood star also touched on his now-dropped lawsuit, in which he accused his ex-girlfriend of not crediting him for his contributions to her early success.

While Safaree’s allegations regarding Nicki’s attempt to censor him has not been confirmed or drawn any response from the rapper’s camp, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if there was some truth to it, especially since another one of Nicki’ exes allegedly blabbed to Remy about the rapper’s private life.

On “Shether,” Remy details an alleged conversation with Meek Mill, where the Philly native disclosed that Nicki had to wait 30 days before intercourse because of her alleged butt enhancement surgery. When asked about the rumors, Safaree mentioned that women should be able to do whatever they like to their bodies.

During their lengthy chat, Safaree mentioned how the couple’s 12-year relationship ended. While present for the creative process of The Pinkprint, the Brooklyn native explained that he introduced Meek Mill to Nicki and well, the rest is history.

“Whether people know it or not, I was a part of the whole creative process up until the last month and a half of it,” he said. “Because the last month we were just going through all the songs and stuff and I found out that there [were] two songs with him (Meek) on the album….I just had an instinct. I had an intuition that there was more to it.”

But while Safaree’s claims may hold some weight, it’s also very possible Nicki is somewhere in Paris working on another music video or twerking with supermodels, not paying any mind to what she’s left behind.

In the end, the rapper faced the camera to tell Nicki, “Do what’s right. You know what I did. Do what’s right.”

We guess no one puts Safaree in a corner.
