Safaree And T.I. At Odds During ‘Hip-Hop Squares’

It looks like the competitive nature of VH1’s Hip-Hop Squares spilled over when the cameras weren’t live. According to BET, guest stars Safaree Samuels and T.I. engaged in a curt verbal exchange that concerned Love & Hip Hop and taking ownership over their music.

What started off as presumably friendly banter quickly turned into minor jabs. Within the video, T.I. mentions Samuels’ appearance on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood, adding, “I thought his hip-hop love had done went over. I ain’t thought he had a hip-hop love no more,” allegedly referring to Nicki Minaj.

Samuels seemed to have taken offense and said, “You need help writing lyrics to your raps because your lyrics are kind of subpar.” He then aimed his next statement at comedian Lil Duval and stated, “My dick is bigger than you so you can’t say sh*t.”

Hip-Hop Squares airs weeknights on VH1 at 9 p.m. EST.
