After rumors and constant social media posts, Sean Kingston has painted another story about his run-in with Atlanta rap group Migos.

The artist sat down with CBS 8 Las Vegas Thursday (Feb. 23) to clear up claims about the altercation that took place Tuesday night (Feb 21). Initial reports painted a picture that Kingston was jumped by the rap group near the Las Vegas Strip. Kingston’s friend Mioses “Bowe Jack” Johnson was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon after he reportedly fired a shot in the air. Kingston might’ve said there was no altercation in a previous Instagram post, but his interview proved otherwise as he explains that he was jumped, but not jumped.

“You see my face, there was no beat down, it was none of that,” Kingston said. “It was a jump, but it wasn’t a JUMP. You get what I’m saying, We went out there thinking we were going to have a conversation. They face timed me, ‘yo come outside let’s talk. Man, I miss you let’s chalk it up.’ You know what I’m saying? And as soon as I went outside it was no talking. They just started jumping on me throwing punches. I didn’t have a chance to put up my set up or do nothing.”

Not only do we have no clue what he’s saying, we’re also not sure if he knows what he’s saying. The interview caught the eyes of Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, where the artist was awarded “Donkey of the Day.”

During his interview, Kingston hints that his comments defending  Soulja Boy during his beef with Quavo may have sparked the incident.

The Migos members are not suspects although the Las Vegas law enforcement are looking to question them. One of Kingston’s friends, Moises Johnson, is facing felony charges after firing a shot in the air during the assault. Johnson claims he wasn’t trying to harm anyone but was merely trying to stop the attack. “To everybody in Las Vegas, we love Las Vegas,” Kingston said.  “Sean Kingston is about unity and feel good music and spreading the love.”

Migos haven’t been named suspects in the incident, but Johnson will have to return to court for his felony charges.
