See Photos of ASAP Rocky, Lil Yachty and More at 2017 Rolling Loud Festival
The first night of the 2017 Rolling Loud Festival in Miami is in the books. And it featured some lit performances from the likes of A$AP Rocky, Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, Curren$y, Flatbush Zombies, The Underachievers, Mac Miller and more.
Rocky’s colorful set had guest spots from XXXTentacion, Lil Yachty and Ian Connor, and featured background visuals, props and blazing pyrotechnics. Curren$y, the Hot Spitta, graced the stage dolo, sporting a Gucci scarf and performing classic cuts off his project, Pilot Talk 2.
Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice and Erick The Architect of the Flatbush Zombies turned up with a high-energy set that featured the trio surfing the crowd. Lil Yatchy showed off tons of teenage energy for his set, performing songs while spraying water on the crowd and jumping all over the stage.
Mac Miller had a more laid-back set, where gave the crowd mostly album cuts. And The Underachievers ran through songs off their upcoming project, Renaissance.
The party continues today (May 6) and tomorrow (May 7). The rest of the star-studded lineup includes: Future, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Tyler, The Creator, Post Malone, Lil Uzi Vert, Migos, 21 Savage, Joey Bada$$, Action Bronson, Amine, Denzel Curry, Playboi Carti, Robb Bank$, Mick Jenkins, Zoey Dollaz, Kembe X, Jay IDK, Chaz French, Ski Mask The Slump God and Larry June.
Earlier this week, Gucci Mane was added to the lineup. Kendrick Lamar, coming off his new album, Damn. reaching platinum status, will be closing the show.
This super lit display of hip-hop talent almost didn’t happen. A city commission vote back in April threatened to cancel the festival. Things ended up working out in the festival’s favor, and all in attendance are happy for it.
With our photographer snapping shots from the midst of the action, we compiled some of the best photos from Day 1 for your viewing pleasure. Peep them below and check back for more Rolling Loud Festival updates throughout the weekend.
