Maurice Harris was arrested Tuesday (April 4) in what law enforcement is saying is a gang related shooting. Harris’ father, 37-year-old Jerry Jacobs was gunned down about a mile away from Nadia Fish and Chicken restaurant on March 29, and Chief of Detective Brian Deenihan said “Twenty-four hours later, his own son goes and kills four people.”
Two of the four people killed were brothers. Raheem Jackson, 19 and his older brother Dillion Jackson 20, were both shot while getting food and visiting their mother who worked at the eatery. Their bodies were found inside the restaurant. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office later identified 28-year-old Emmanuel Stokes and Edwin Davis, 32 who were found dead outside.

“I can’t go on; my life is over. I’m ’bout to g**damn kill myself,” the mother said. “I was standing right here in the window; they killed ’em right in front of me.”
