If the festivities were not enough, the 2017 lineup will be especially focused on women artists, professionals, activists and creators. The star-studded lineup will include Latin Grammy-winning Milly Quezada, Dominican Republic’s dembow star Amara La Negra, DJ Tygapaw, Alison Hinds, Johnny Osbourne and many more.

Apart from the performance-packed shows, Afro-Latino Fest will also feature the Liberación Film Festival, which will showcase documentaries like Death by A Thousand Cuts and Sombra Di Koló.
