According to TMZ the owner of the 1997 GMC suburban had no idea of the vehicle’s significance, and for the past 20 years has been driving a piece of hip-hop history.  The owner says they purchased the vehicle in October 1997 from a broker who bought it in a auction, and before receiving the keys, the bullet riddled door was replaced. The only remaining indication Biggie was actually in the car is the bullet hole in the front passenger seat belt where Big was seated.

In 2005, the owner of the SUV was contacted by a LAPD detective in regards to Big’s wrongful death trial and that’s when they received the full story. The hunter green vehicle has 144,000 miles on it and is being sold through Momentsintime.com for the same price as the car ‘Pac was killed in.
