The Roots Announce Star Studded Tenth Annual Picnic Lineup
The Roots made sure that there’s more to look forward to this summer than just the warm weather with the star-studded line up for their 10th annual Roots Picnic.

The Philadelphia group will headline their June 3 event at Festival Pier in the City of Brotherly Love alongside some of the most prominent and respected names from all genres. The roster of music titans includes Pharrell, Lil Wayne, Solange, 21 Savage, and many more.
“It’s amazing that it has grown into such a valued piece of the cultural landscape of our hometown of Philadelphia. We were blessed to expand the Picnic to NYC last year, and the brand will continue to grow and evolve, but Philly will ALWAYS be the home, the birthplace of the Roots Picnic,” said Shawn Gee, Roots’ longtime manager, in a press release. “We are super excited to bring a packed lineup to celebrate our 10th anniversary, and as always there will be plenty of surprises and special guests.”
The show at Penn’s Landing will comprise of three stages that will showcase the headliners during the show. The Roots Annual Picnic hosted acts like The Weeknd, Migos, A$AP Rocky, John Legend and many other superstars in the past.
