This man is speaking out in 1956 in Montgomery Alabama during the time of the Montgomery bus boycott provoked by Rosa Parks. It was still a time when these people spoke out to film crews without fear of any kind of retribution or embarrassment. I was not old enough to film this but I supported the organization that had the courage to send a filmmaker to Alabama at that time.
