Trouble and Mike Will Made-It Recorded a Whole Project in a Couple Days
Late last year, word broke of an upcoming collab between Drake and Trouble, complete with a snippet. Originally thought to be on Mike WiLL Made-It‘s long-awaited Ransom 2 project, it now seems like the collab is set for an entirely different project altogether.
Talking to the L.A. Leakers team earlier this week, the super-producer spoke on a project he recorded with Trouble in a matter of days. He starts talking about it around the 16:23 mark in the video below.
“Trouble coming out of Atlanta. There’s definitely a collaboration [between Trouble and Drake]. “Me and Trouble did a whole project in like three or four days, and then I let Drake hear it and Drake was like, ‘Yo, this song is crazy,’ and he ended up hopping on that joint, smoking that joint. We shot the video and everything. We’re just trying to make sure that project is all the way ill and complete and done.”
To be clear: Trouble is one of the best Atlanta rappers of the last couple years, gaining local respect despite not getting the national acclaim of some of his cohorts. His Skoobzilla tape from last year remains one of the best rap projects that was released in 2016, and now fans are hungry to hear what he has cooked up for this year. Sounds like we’re about to find out.
We hear word Trouble’s team is still figuring out the final details for the project, but for now listen to his collab with Que, “Good As It Gets,” and peep the billboard Cam Kirk hooked up for him in Atlanta.
