Now that South Florida rappers Wifisfuneral and Smokepurpp are on the same label (Alamo Records), they’ve decided to jump on a track together. While they were both in New York City last week, the recorded a new joint called “Run It Up” produced by Cris Dinero and you can listen to it below.

Wifi is up first, spitting a couple slick rhymes: “I’m skrting off right in that Audi, screaming fuck 12/compress those ends that make them benz, that recipe, I tell ya/and if I die before I wake, I pray I see a million.”

Purpp takes a more melodic approach to the track on the second verse: “Pussy sweet, you can’t hang with me/you can’t bang with me, I got mud just like a G.”

“Creating ‘Run It Up’ was a very easy, organic process,” Wifi tells XXL about making the song. “Cris Dinero played the beat and I just started freestyling. I wanted to get someone on the second verse, and my brother Smokepurrp just made sense.”

Alamo is Todd Moscowitz’s new label under Interscope, and it also includes Ralo on the quickly-developing roster. Wifi’s new mixtape will no longer be titled Ethernet but it’s still on the way, as is Purpp’s DEADSTAR.
