In a candid discussion with Shawn Prez, former Army Ranger and boxer Nicholas Irving delivered a scathing critique of Andrew Tate’s recent fight against Chase DeMoor. Despite Tate’s reputation as a former kickboxer and his impressive physique, Irving revealed that Tate showed no real fighting form during the bout. “He had no hands, no footwork, no cardio,” Irving said, adding that Tate appeared to “gas out” by the second round, struggling visibly on the stool. Irving compared the fight to watching “two drunk uncles fighting at Thanksgiving,” emphasizing how poor Tate’s performance looked. He even rated Tate’s showing worse than Mike Tyson’s recent loss to Jake Paul, despite Tyson being decades older. Irving attributed Tate’s defeat to ring rust and time away from active competition. He also shared plans for his own upcoming fights in the Golden Gloves tournament, promising to stream the bouts, possibly behind a paywall.
