Additionally, Irving criticized a proposed travel ban by the Trump administration affecting many countries, which he described as unfair to those with family in the affected regions. He highlighted the impact on those who had previously aided U.S. efforts abroad, such as Afghan interpreters who are now restricted from visiting family due to the ban.
