In a recent interview, former Army Ranger Nicholas Irving weighed in on the partial release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, which included photos linking Epstein to high-profile figures such as Michael Jackson, both accused of child abuse. Irving expressed skepticism about the impact of the documents, calling the heavily redacted files “nothing” new and suggesting the release serves as political theater rather than justice for victims. The images connecting Epstein—a convicted pedophile—to Jackson, who faced multiple child abuse allegations, were seen by Irving and the host as a deliberate attempt to fuel controversy. Irving also highlighted the one-sided nature of the revelations, noting the focus on celebrities and politicians mostly from the left, while high-profile Republicans were conspicuously absent. Ultimately, Irving criticized the release as a distraction, lamenting that, despite the spectacle and leaked information, no meaningful closure has been achieved for Epstein’s victims.
