After being arrested for murder as a juvenile, Boobie Black faced many challenges, including an established beef in his project. In 1991, shortly after his release from juvenile detention, he was involved in a life-threatening altercation that left him shot four times. The conflict arose from ongoing tensions in his neighborhood, which forced him always to be on guard. Despite the danger, Boobie Black was determined not to let fear dictate his actions, but a trip to a pizza shop turned violent as enemies attacked him. Although shot in the back, leg, and shoulder, Boobie Black’s focus was more on retaliation than survival. Fortunately, the quick reaction of a friend helped him reach emergency medical care in time.
