We recently sat down with the founders of the ONE Music Fest for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation J Carter spoke about discovering his love for the culture, recalls his first event he threw, Moetown Lee explains how he got the name Moetown, starting off as a DJ, explains why he moved to Atlanta, Troy Brown explains how he got into the music industry, J speaks on coming up with the idea for the first ONE Music Festival, taking a lot of sacrifices to build the festival the past 15 years, having over 100k people in attendance last year, having a diverse lineup for this year’s festival, the energy & experience at the festival, 50% of the attendees coming from outside of Atlanta, reuniting Dungeon Family at the 2016 festival, Moetown explains why 2019 was his favorite festival, creating TwoGether Land festival in Dallas, music festivals beginning to get oversaturated, each person on the team having their own strengths, employing 400 people for the festival, what to expect at this year’s festival, and much more!
