UPDATE: Following our recording, Samuel Bateman was convicted on all three state counts of child abuse. It took jurors only 40 minutes to deliberate. Bateman is now scheduled to be sentenced August 25.
Self-proclaimed prophet Sam Bateman is back in court facing state child abuse charges tied to an alleged 2022 trailer incident involving three young girls. Former followers are now testifying, describing a disturbing system of control, fear, and danger inside his circle.
