Basketball stars and World Champions Syd & TP set out to become the faces of WNBA after winning a title with Las Vegas Aces and using their comedic personalities to capture the attention of not just basketball fans but non sports fans as well.

The former Las Vegas Aces teammates Sydney Colson and Theresa Plaisance hava leveraged their friendship and WNBA opportunity to create a different path to stardom and success. Better known as Syd and TP, the world champions and bench warming besties are determined to become the faces of the WNBA, despite the fact that no one asked them to and far from the top of the A-list star players in the league. Maintaining an honest perspective about each other and their spots on WNBA rosters, the two found gratitude in their opportunities and found ways to stand out amongst the league’s top talented players.

Embracing their comedic personalities and love from their teammates as being the go-to’s for the little things on and off the court but also the ones who lighten the mood and make the sport more fun, Syd and TP took their everyday approach to life and turned it into a tv series and social media sensations.

Understanding their role as team players and non-starters for their respective teams, the two forged a bond last season when they were a part of a championship roster who didn’t see much playing time but gained popularity through their personality. TP talks about doing the little things as an athlete but also as a teammate which has helped her stay in the league for so long while Syd talks about making the most of her opportunity to be on the highest level doing what she loves everyday while mixing in her other talents and just being her authentic self.

Playing with stars like A’ja Wilson and Kelsey Plum, the team doesn’t lack stardom and Syd says adding her balance to the roster is something valued by her teammates. TP talks about how her mom being a basketball coach helped shape her love for the sport at a young age yet she didn’t really fully embrace her talents until college years at LSU. The two besties have allowed their vulnerability and talent to create their own lane in a sport that landed them a second career.

Ryan, Channing and Fred ask about the discrepancies of women’s sports on a professional level between the wage gap, different levels of exposure and treatment across the board but Syd and TP chime in on how women’s sports are on the rise and gaining traction with more broadcast deals and sold out arenas. The ladies detail how last year’s championship parade exceeded expectations and truly was an unbelievable experience with fans lining up blocks of Las Vegas Blvd to celebrate their championship run.

Syd, currently on the Las Vegas Aces, who are taking on the NY Liberty in the WNBA finals is one game away from winning back to back titles.
