Quabo Bellz Details Killing a Man Trying to Rob Him in Self Defense (Full Interview)

Charlotte rapper Quabo Bellz talked about growing up in the city’s most notorious neighborhood and escaping a near-death experience in his first VladTV interview. He started rapping at five, but didn’t start releasing music until 2012. Quabo Bellz talked about being inspired by DaBaby’s recent success and personally knowing the rap star as he used to hang out with his little brother. Having lost friends and his little brother to violence, the rapper also described his own near-death experience when a middle-school classmate tried robbing him. Quabo Bellz shot and killed the robber in self-defense and explained why he stayed in his neighborhood for additional two years after the 2019 encounter.

The rapper admitted to suffering from PTSD and deciding to self-medicate rather than use the prescription his doctors assigned to him. DJ Vlad also encouraged him to seek therapy for the incident and various losses he’s suffered.
