Roger Bonds, a former employee of Sean “Diddy” Combs, accused the music mogul of not paying his employees for the hours they actually worked. Bonds revealed a culture at Bad Boy Records where employees, including security staff, regularly worked up to 20-hour days, yet were not compensated for overtime. Bonds recounted being pressured to adjust his timesheets from 20 to 12-hour days to avoid overtime payments. According to Bonds, this practice was not isolated, with even Diddy’s driver facing underpayment issues, leading to significant personal financial losses. Despite Diddy’s wealth, he allegedly avoided paying legal fees fully, opting for cheaper defenses even when facing significant legal challenges. Bonds claims Diddy’s practices extended to concert tours, where security were forced to sell extra tickets for personal income.
