Royce Reed on Baby with Dwight Howard, Dwight's Gay Lawsuit, Abuse (Flashback)
Amid Dwight Howard’s recent restraining order against his estranged wife, we revisit this flashback featuring his former partner, Royce Reed.
A former cheerleader for the Orlando Magic and Miami Heat, and the mother of Dwight Howard’s son, Royce opened up about her upbringing in Orlando, Florida. She credited her strength and resilience to her background, shaped by attending predominantly white schools while being raised within the Black community—an experience encouraged by her father to help her understand and appreciate both worlds.
Royce began cheerleading at age nine and dancing at age three, eventually earning a full college scholarship through her talents. During the interview, she spoke candidly about her relationship with Dwight Howard, including her pregnancy and the challenges she faced throughout their time together. She also reflected on her experience on Basketball Wives.
