Former mobster Salvatore “Sammy the Bull” Gravano recounts chilling details about notorious hitman Roy DeMeo, who claimed responsibility for up to 200 murders. Gravano describes DeMeo as having spiraled into a serial killer, recounting how DeMeo himself confessed to the vast number of his victims. Operating out of a club and a bar nicknamed “Dracula’s” on account of the gruesome practices carried out there, DeMeo’s infamous “Gemini Method” involved draining victims’ blood before dismemberment to avoid detection. Gravano reveals that DeMeo’s violent inclinations extended beyond necessity, detailing a chilling conversation in which DeMeo fantasized about killing senior citizens en masse. Ultimately, DeMeo’s violent streak led to his downfall. Gravano details the involvement of mob boss John Gotti, who was assigned the hit by Paul Castellano. When Gotti appeared hesitant, Frankie DeCicco took over, enlisting DeMeo’s own “twins” to carry out the execution, thereby ending DeMeo’s reign of terror.
