Gerard Gravano, son of infamous mobster Sammy “The Bull” Gravano, opened up about the operation that landed him facing up to 40 years in prison. Gerard clarified that reports of their ecstasy ring selling 30,000 tablets and making half a million dollars weekly were grossly exaggerated. The operation, lasting about six weeks, was inconsistent and low-profit, likely generating around $100,000 total. Gerard revealed he sold pills for just $8 each, barely above the $7 wholesale price. Despite the comparatively small financial gain, the risks were immense. Gerard faced a potential 40-year sentence at age 23 but ultimately accepted a plea deal, serving roughly nine years. Sammy Gravano himself faced up to 20 years but received less after cooperating with authorities.
