Skinny Keem opens up about his tumultuous journey from the streets of South Philly. Raised by a single mother in Southwest Philly with three siblings, Skinny Keem began his life of crime at just seven, stealing from corner stores for cookies and candy. He described his early rap pursuits, dropping out of school in middle school and only attending to participate in rap battles. His childhood was further marred by witnessing multiple murders amidst a violent backdrop, including a pivotal shootout between rival factions.
