Swamp stories – Spirit of the Wasteland

Art school project, animation made by a bunch of beginners.

I think we must congratulate ourselves on what we managed to do with that little time we had and with that few experience we had.
Our progress as animators can be seen frame by frame as the movie goes on. As I look it back now I can only be amazed to what we did…
What could have we done if we would have had more time and resources to use? Or re-plan and try things out before shooting them on film?

Music was taken from a free internet based service, yet all the other things you see or hear was done by our four piece team.

The film was cut some one and half minutes short from the script so the drama doesn’t build up as it was intended. We also ran out of time with the finishing so it’s basically missing quite a lot in how the story builds up.
