Veteran comedian TK Kirkland, currently touring with Mike Epps on the *We the Ones* tour, opened up about his preference for stand-up over acting. Kirkland revealed that he’s never been a fan of auditioning for TV and movies, finding the process frustrating and uncertain, unlike stand-up comedy which offered him guaranteed income and creative control. Despite his reservations, Kirkland recently starred in a TV show titled *Lot Patrol*, a project brought to him by longtime friend and manager Manny Haley. Although new to acting and initially concerned about memorizing lines, Kirkland says the production team praised his natural talent and improvisational skills.
