As a native of Albany, Georgia, Boont Daddy’s southern roots are prominent in his music. Since the age of 15, Boont Daddy has been inspired and motivated to create colorful yet soulful music. He has a strategically patterned blend of trap/hip-hop that contains elements of southern soul and funk. Boont Daddy gives credit to Dem Franchise Boyz as one of his musical influences for production.As a semi-professional basketball player, Boont Daddy was accustom to traveling and making music in his spare time. Unfortunately, he was forced to make the difficult decision to abandon his basketball career to care for his son. In 2017, he was plagued by a series of legal woes that resulted in him being arrested four times. After being released for the last time, Boont Daddy decided to move to Atlanta and pursue music exclusively while juggling fatherhood.Currently, Boont Daddy is working on his third project, Speak No Evil, It is set to be released later this year (March 2020)
