Wild Twist in Young Mom's Murder Over Birds
Bailey Scott, a 23-year-old single mom, was shot and killed in Moberly, Missouri, after allegedly confronting her neighbor, David Heyede, who was reportedly luring birds to shoot them. Heyede claims he acted in self-defense after Scott struck him, but police found no injuries on Heyede or signs of trauma on Scott’s hands to support that claim. Heyede is charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bond, as friends and the local community question his story and demand justice for Bailey.
