STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENT JOURNEY | September Update | Federal Student Loan Forbearance Update

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for watching my September Student Loan Update!

Since my last update the federal student loan forbearance has been extended until December 31, 2020! If you have qualifying federal student loans your loans will be in forbearance AND at 0% interest until the end of this year. Which means any payments you currently make will go towards your principal versus going towards the interest. I’m using this grace period to pay down my student loans ($34k paid off in 6 months).

I’m now about seven months into my four year repayment plan! The first week of every month I will be uploading a student loan repayment update, so make sure you subscribe!
