Woman Admits to Taking LSD Before Fiancé’s Gruesome Death
Police in Omaha responding to a bizarre home invasion call in December 2023 found Alyssa Roman displaying signs of excited delirium and, upon searching her home, discovered her fiancé Alan Critser dead from multiple gunshot wounds in a gruesome scene. Roman allegedly admitted to taking LSD earlier that day and was the only other person in the home, later pleading no contest to manslaughter after initially facing second-degree murder charges. She remains in custody and is scheduled to be sentenced in September. Law&Crime’s Elizabeth Millner breaks down the case.
