In this clip, Roger Reaves spoke about the Iran-Contra affair during Ronald Reagan’s second term as president, and he clarified that he believes rogue CIA agents are behind the situation. From there, Roger detailed going on the run in Brazil and losing contact with Escobar when he asked about the $3 million that he was owed. Roger was then given the news about the successful hit on Barry Seal, and he went on to clarify that he only saw top-notch business from Escobar, not the widely-reported violence. After speaking more about the terror that the Medellín Cartel, headed by Escobar, inflicted on Colombians, Roger went on to detail his life in Brazil. Roger explained that they weren’t living in hiding, but he moved to his wife’s native Holland, which is when he went back to transporting. Roger then detailed being arrested in Amsterdam and escaping from the police, which is when he said he knew his partner had turned him in.
