We recently sat down with Shanti Lo for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation she discussed coming from Detroit, dealing with haters in the city, writing her first rap at 4 years old, dropping music while she was in high school, taking music serious as of recently, coping with the loss of her father whom she was very close with, her mom being in the hospital since she was 5, being motivated to go harder with her career after losing him, dreams of moving to Atlanta, shooting her visual “Share Locations” remix while visiting out here, getting tried by men, keeping her circle small due to past experiences, dealing with raising herself for 5 years, dealing with being betrayed by her old friends, finding out her friends were messing with who she dates, putting her pain into her music, wanting to level up and move out of Michigan, the dangers of Michigan, dropping visuals every two weeks, making relatable, real music for her fans, take a mini break with her music to focus in on her life and more!
