ASAP Rocky and Guess Originals Return With New Capsule Collection for Spring
ASAP Rocky will launch his second capsule collection with Guess Originals this month. The collection, entitled Guess Club, is set to hit specialty shops such as Black Market and Opening Ceremony on March 10. Guess Club is “packed with the collaboration’s signature stripes and offers a range of jewel tones,” according to a press release.
Rocky spoke with WWD last month in London ahead of Guess Club’s release, looking back on the success of his first collab with the iconic denim brand last January. “People actually understood my reasons for wanting to collaborate on that nostalgic collection,” Rocky said. “Growing up with an urban hip-hop background, Guess was part of that, in the Menace II Society films and in my household. It was my own twist on archival pieces.” Rocky also told WWD that new music was coming soon.
Guess Originals was developed as a way to partner prominent creatives at the forefront of multiple mediums. During a preview for the 2016 capsule, Rocky revealed what it felt like to get a glimpse at the legendary Guess vault. “It’s just a big warehouse with cages full of clothes,” he said. “Some of them are marked by years. I went in there and got busy. Fucked that whole shit up.”

Pieces for the new collection will include classic logo tees, color-blocked denim, high-rise and low-rise bell bottoms, and oversized jackets. The pieces range in price from $49 to $198. The campaign, directed by Rocky’s AWGE group, was shot by Hannah Sider (GQ, Vogue) in Los Angeles last month.
