Migos and Drake Have New Music Coming Soon
Fresh off the release of their hit album Culture, Migos stopped by the Shade 45 studio to announce some major news: The Atlanta trio has a Drake collaboration on deck.
During an appearance on DJ Whoo Kid’s The Whoolywood Shuffle, Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset confirmed they have a third song with Drizzy on the way; however, it’s unclear what the men have in store. Considering Migos dropped their sophomore studio album less than a week ago, many people suspect the collaboration will appear on Drake’s fast-approaching More Life playlist. But it’s anyone’s guess at this point.
“[Drake] always be popping up and let us know he see us,” Quavo told DJ Whoo Kid. “We ain’t got no relationship with him, but I know he watching and he respect the wave and he knows what’s going on. And we got something on the way.”
During the interview, Migos touched on their previous partnerships with the Toronto rapper: Drake remixed the trio’s 2013 song “Versace,” and Migos put their own spin on Drizzy’s “Trophies” track. Will this upcoming collaboration deliver something completely new, or will we see another rework of a hit song? We definitely wouldn’t be mad if Drake hopped on “Bad and Boujee.”
While we wait for more information to roll out, you can check out Migos’ interview above.
