According to TMZ, Birdman has invited Juvenile, Mannie Fresh, Turk, and some up-and-coming talent to join the roster for the tour. As far as Weezy, Baby seems to think that he doesn’t need him at all. But because Birdman has actually had time to sit down and think about how ridiculous a tour without Tunechi would be, he’s reportedly extended an open invite to him, on the terms they sit down and work through all of their issues.
That conversation may take while though. In addition to working out their legal squabble concerning music rights and the infamous Carter V tape, Tune probably has some explaining to do about why he continues to run Birdman’s name into the ground every chance he gets. In addition to disclaiming Baby in interviews, Wayne has also thrown shots at the mogul on stage, chanting “f**k Cash Money” and altering song lyrics to exclude Birdman’s name.

Lil Wayne has previously said that there was no hope of a reconciliation between the former label mates, but we can only hope they come to some kind of terms for the sake of the music and nostalgia. After all, how would we be able to enjoy “Back That Azz Up” if Lil Wayne wasn’t there to tell us to “drop it like it’s hot” at the song’s end? The Cash Money reunion hasn’t gotten an official date, but should be kicking off some time in Feb. 2017.
